I finally got a pretty easy solution.
The .vcs file needs to be saved as UTF-8 and not as ANSI or UNICODE. "Vassilis" wrote in message ... Hi, I'm using vbscript to create custom calendar entries (.vcs files). This was working perfectly on outlook 2003 but on the .vcs files of outlook 2007 it has different format. I managed to break it down and understand how it works but I have big problem with Greek characters (Unicode)... Inside the .vcs file the characters are displayed like this "=0D=0A=E5=EB=EB=E7=ED=E9=EA=DC=0D=0A=0" I also see a new field "ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:" Keep in mind that if I create a new calendar item though outlook it displays correctly...when I save this as .vcs and open it with notepad I get the garbage characters. What do I need to change/add on the custom .vcs to recognize Unicode characters so I can create manually .vcs files ??? thank you Regards, Vassilis |
