One of our users at work has a problem with email that I have never
seen before. When he uses word as the editor and attachs a document (any document), Word changes the attachment to embeded object : name of file I cant find any settings in Outlook or Word that would cause this. Any ideas? |

Not really a proper solution, but simply don't use Word as the mail editor.
I would think it does this because in Word, normally you would "embed" an external file, i.e. image file etc rather than "attach" it. Actually one other thing popped into my head.
If they're using RTF it will embed no matter if you're using OL or Word. When you use plain text or HTML it attaches. So try change the format to HTML if it's currently RTF and try again. Have you checked to see if he has field names turned on?
