What AdvancedSearch filter schema should I use to query Exchange for Office
file content? i.e. urn:schemas... We are storing Office and Adobe files in our Public Folders. Currenly, to search the full-text index for the content of these files, a user must take the following steps. 1. Open Advanced Find and Select Files(Outlook/Exchange) from the Look For drop down. 2. Select the specific Public Folder they want to search (after Outlook defaults the selection to Inbox) 3. Select All Files (*.*) from the Type drop down 4. Click on the Advanced Tab and enter "Content contains search term" Most users find this extremely annoying to find documents that contain the text they are looking for, so I am writing a .Net add-in for Outlook to seach documents in the Public Folders. |
