I have been working on changing the default Outlook 2003 Mail Form for my
company. My company wanted our letterhead to be reflected in email. So I created a simple template that looks like our letterhead, and has our company logo inserted into the email. I had success changing the default form to my custom form according the following article: http://www.outlookcode.com/d/newdefa...#changedefault The only drawback I have found, and don't know the solution to, is when I know hit REPLY on any email, it attaches the embedded logo as an attachment that I used within the new default email message. The strange thing is, that when I hit reply on any email, it doesn't insert any of the "letterhead email" text, formatting or anything. So when I hit reply, it doesn't look like it uses the default template - which is OK with me - but for some reason it's ONLY attaching the logo as an attachment that I have embedded within the default email. Again i'm using Outlook 2003, and I was able to change the default email form to my custom form. And it has strangely affected all reply emails. Anybody able to shed any light on this strange problem? If possible I can post up come screen shots if this doesn't make sense... Thanks! |
