Automation of voting buttons
I'm soure that outlook has progressed since I used it last!
What I'd like to do is automatically (that is from a script/command line/program) send an e-mail to somebody using outlook that has the voting buttons set. When they reply, I'd like to process the reply automatically and use their result. For example: If I send an e-mail with 'yes' or 'no' in the voting buttons and 'Do you approve this change?', then, when the reply comes back, I'd like to be turn that into a boolean that I can use to change the status of my object to 'approved' or 'not approved'. I need this to interfact to an API of a fairly old program... I've looked at things like 'outlook.exe /c ipm.mail' but these all seem to bring up some sort of gui - maybe I haven't found the right documentation of the outlook command line - if so, please point me in the direction of this, and I'll be happy! |
