We have built a generic framework similar to MS Dynamics and SAP Duet but not
limited to a particular application.
- Data from databases and LOBs can be organized in Outlook folders in the
navigation pane, and records from can be easily displayed as Outlook items so
end users of your applications can use Outlook features for record filtering,
sorting, and grouping.
- Guidelines help how to build connectors through .NET data providers. An
evaluation version at www.quantumsystem.com provides standard data connectors
for Sharepoint, SQL, File System, and you can easily create any others for
your applications on Outlook 2003. Contact us in case you would like to
develop applications on Outlook 2007, so we send you our new version (not
available yet on our web site) - Quantum Insight is a very nice tool that
allows using MS Outlook as a kind of application portal, so it is a perfect
complement to VSTO.
