When I try to print an envelope in Word using the Outlook contacts, those contacts without a fax number or email address don't show up. I need all of them to show up.

The address book in Word will show all of your Contacts.
How are you invoking the address book? How did you configure it? -- Russ Valentine "Paul Johnson" / wrote in message ... Unless I'm mistaken - AB will only show contacts that have at least one
email address or fax number - those that have neither do not appear (comes down to how the OR iis interpreted in the statement "without a fax number OR email address") If the merge was started from Word - the AB is what's used and would result in what would appear as "missing contacts". Starting the merge from Outlook - contacts are selected based on current view or custom selection versus the AB. Not true. You're confusing the Word Address Book with the Outlook Address
Book. Nor is a mail merge in play here. The Word Address Book always shows all Contacts, as it should. If it doesn't, the OP needs to reinstall the Word Address Book feature. -- Russ Valentine "Karl Timmermans" wrote in message ... I have VMs with all the versions so I don't have to remember.
![]() Russ is correct - assuming Paul is using Tools, Letters & Mailings, Envelopes & Labels, he should see all addresses in his Contacts. If he separated contacts into 2 (or more) folders, each folder needs enabled as an address book in outlook. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: How many email accounts are in your main Outlook profile? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=36602 "Russ Valentine" wrote in message ... Then I stand corrected. I did try it from Word before posting and did get
the OAB for some reason replicating the scenario described (and of course, I can't replicate it again so will quietly meander away). Thanks all for the suggestions. I'm using the Tools... Envelopes process and the only address book I can select from is the Outlook Contacts, which is fine. But only those contacts with a Fax number or email address are displayed.

Answer was already posted. The behavior you're seeing means you have not
installed the Word Address Book correctly. Remove it. Use the Office CD to reinstall it. -- Russ Valentine "Paul" / wrote in message ... Thanks all for the suggestions. I'm using the Tools...
