I have a couple thousand contacts in my contacts folder with email address.
When I am sending a email message outlook does not find any of these addresses when I start typing into the TO: line. Why? How do I fix this? LBVennard |

Why? How do I fix this? Because what appears when you start typing in the address field doesn't have anything to do with your contacts. It's just a list of the addresses to which you've sent messages in the past, whether or not you used your contacts when sending the message. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

Just to add to what Brian said, the list will repopulate as you send more
