You certainly can - must be in 97-2003 format though.

Two things to add to Gordon's reply..... when you map your email address
field (during the import process - you'll run across a button that says "Map
Custom Fields" which is where you manually map your fields) - be sure that
you expand the "Email" (or "Email 2" or "Email 3" - whichever one you want
to use) field and map your email address from MS Access to the Outlook
"Email Address" (or Email 2 Address etc) to avoid any potential problems.

This assumes that your email addresses are in the standard format
. You do not and should not map anything to the Email
Address Type field which will be filled in automatically by Outlook.

Since you didn't mention your Outlook version - Outlook (any version
including '2007) only supports the .mdb (97-2003) format. An Access .accdb
(2007) file must be converted to .mdb or alternatively - export your table
from Access to a CSV file and import the CSV file into Outlook instead.

Karl
