And, by the way, I just successfully imported all contacts using
import/export. There are so many variations in these versions, you can't
possibly be so sure about everything--especially when you're wrong.
Think if you're being rude before you post. I don't understand why you
continue to participate if you're so annoyed. Let other people help without
being so impatient. Again, check your attitude or don't bother.
Just my 2 cents.

Well if people aren't made aware that they should then they never will,
will they?

There's a difference between making someone aware of something and shoving
it up their nose.

And your next post will be something like "I can't see any contacts in the
Addressbook" because importing a pst file usually results in a corrupted
mail profile - which you would have seen if you'd googled.

There are so many variations in these versions, you can't

No variations at all. Just copy the pst file and open it in Outlook - as
it's always been.

Just trying to avoid all the complications you are going to get by importing
without researching first....

Please stop discussing this with me.
You've made your point -- that was never my quarrel. You are incredibly
inappropriate to be posting advice. Go for a walk. There's more in the world
than trying to prove yourself filled with exasperation over those who have
questions.

Well, Gordon is correct that importing from a PST is not the best way. Time
stamps change, for one thing, and items like Distribution Lists generally fail
the import completely.
