I want the email address to show, not the name. My address book keeps

you'd need to replace the display name with the address.

See http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/emaildisplayname.htm for VBA to make
the change.

When you open a Contact record, under the contact's general information will
be a "Display As" field. You must change that field so it contains the mail
address.

where are you seeing that - in the display name field of an open contact? If
you see it when you start typing names, it's not the contact.

If the contact is changed, are you syncing with a device?
