I have lots of Contacts, and that portion of Outlook works great. I also
have lots of email, and that portion works great. Unfortunately, they DO NOT work great TOGETHER. When I create a new email and click the "To..." button, the "Select Names" dialogue box comes up. I have the option to "Show names from the" Address book or Contacts. Contacts is selected, but the left field, the one that should show all my contacts, is blank. Any suggestions? Thanks |

Assuming Outlook 2002/2003 because you don't state your version of Outlook, click ToolsE-mail AccountsView or change existing directories or address booksNext. Select Outlook ADdress Book, click Change, and remove the incorrect folder. -- Brian Tillman |

The "Left field?"
Post is unclear. Explain more clearly what isn't working as you think it should. Post your Outlook version and state how you configured your Outlook Address Book to display your Contacts. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Richard Mills" wrote in message ... Brian,
Sorry about the oversight--it's Outlook 2002, sp3. Your suggestion worked -- I deleted "Outlook Address Book" and restarted Outlook. Then I had to go through the process again to ADD the "Outlook Address Book." After restarting Outlook, it worked as expected. Thanks.
