Default Losing Contact Categories when upgrading to Student Office 2007

I had office proffessional 2003 and went back to grad school, so I bought
student office 2007, which does not include Outlook 2007. After
installation, somehow all of my contact categories disappeared, even though I
did not upgrade Outlook, just Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

The categories are still present under individual contacts, but they do not
appear in the Master List.

I have a back-up of my computer, is there any way that i can recover the
master list of categories.

In OL07 right click on the top folder (Personal Folders), choose Properties,
and click on 'Upgrade to Color Categories'. That should do it.

I still have outlook 03, the program was not upgraded, but the categories
were still affected.
