Import email list in excel file
Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find it...
I have a long list of emails in an Excel 2003 file and want to add them to my contacts in Outlook 2007. I have tried using the import function but I keep getting a message saying the excel file has 'no named ranges' and to 'Use Excel to name the range of date to be imported'. I'm not sure what this means. |
Import email list in excel file
You basically have 2 choices:
#1 - Review "Named Ranges" in the Excel help file and apply as required OR #2 - save your worksheet as a CSV file and import that file into Outlook instead (fastest route to your destination) Regardless of which choice you make - be sure to manually map your fields (or at least verify what Outlook has mapped for you depending on the field names in use in your Excel file).
