Unable to dial any contacts

Thanks - I solved it anyway. Turned out to be a conflict with a bluetooth
device that installed a modem I did not know about. When I removed the
bluetooth modem and rebooted everything worked again.

Outlook is not a player in this scenario. It uses the Windows dialer. So

Reopening has no effect.

The modem is installed OK and working in device manager and in control
panel phone & modeem options. It appears to be connected to com 15 if
that is relevant.

How can I get it working ?
