Default Certain contacts appear to be deleted when I restart my computer

In between computer restarts if I have saved any new contacts I am unable to
find them once I have restarted my computer. So if, for example, I was
trading emails with a new contact on Friday, shut my computer down and come
in Monday and I try to send a new email to that person they will not be in my
address book. However, when I go to re-save that contact in the address book
it asks me if I want to replace that existing contact with the new
information, indicating that it is saved somewhere. It almost seems like
when I restart my computer it is defaulting the address book to a date in the
past. Any thoughts?

Don't make us guess when you post. Provide a more accurate description of
where these Contacts are not appearing that you think they should. Are you
having problems with your Contacts Folder? Are you having problems with your
address book view? Are you having problems with your autocompletion cache?
Something else?
