We recently migrated our e-mail system from Novell Groupwise to Outlook 2007
using an Exchange server, and I have two problems regarding shared contacts. 1) I can see the shared address books in my Contacts listed under People's Contacts, but they do not appear in the Address Book. I also cannot view those shared contacts when I create a new e-mail and hit the To button. 2) There are distribution groups in these shared contacts, and I cannot send send an e-mail to the group. The only way I can even send an e-mail to the contacts in the shared lists is to right click on the name and go to Create, New Message to Contact. This only works for individuals. Is this a permissions issue? Will I have to get editorial permissions and then somehow send the shared contacts to my contacts before this will work? |
