I have an empty contacts folder that I deleted because of corrupted files. I
created a good contacts file from a backup. When I connected my phone to sync to the new file, it instead deleted all of the contacts on my cell phone. I cannot delete the empty contacts folder that the phone apparently synced to. Any help? |

You can't just create a new contact folder and expect your phone to use it. Outlook treats all of the folders in the delivery location PST as the default folders and if you want to replace any of them you must replace them all with a new PST, copying or moving the data in the old default folders to the new default folders. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
