The Properties dialog box cannot be displayed An invalid ENTRYID waspassed on
Help. My contacts list is blank with the little contact icon next to a
blank line. Clicking on the contact yields the "The Properties dialogue . . . etc . . ." above, prompt. I *do not* sync this list with any mobile device and the contacts are still "there" since I can type the common name into the "too" line of the email and it autofills. Following pertinent info. I've already run Scanpst.exe on my .pst. No help. Outlook Version: 2007 (12.9.6316.5000) SP 1 MSO (12.0.6320.5000) Mr. Valentine from Microsoft, if you answer this, please dispense with the smart as* remarks. This is a problem with Outlook and with no other party or other party's software. |

State what you mean by "contact list" and exactly how you are trying to
access it. Autocompletion has nothing to do with your Contacts so the fact that it works in no way means your Contacts are intact. There seems to be something that has disrupted the connection between your Outlook profile and your data store so you will need to provide more information, starting with how you create this profile and migrated your data to it. Use Folder List view to display your entire folder hierarchy and see if you can find your Contacts Folder there somewhere. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "mrflashrifle" wrote in message ... Help. I'm in the same boat. I've tried scanpst as well to no avail. I'd be happy to be able to delete them but I cannot even do that

When you say your "Contacts list is blank" to which view are you referring?
Can you remember any of the steps that lead up to this problem or has this feature never worked? Most of the time this error indicates a problem with the Outlook address book service rather than your PST file. Is your Outlook address book service working and configured correctly? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Mariano De Santis" wrote in message ... I'm in the same boat.
