You'll need to post a far more clear and complete description of your
problem in a forum that supports your sync software. This is not an Outlook issue. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "HD" wrote in message ... Hi Russ.
Let's start over again. I had an IT person set up "Contact1" ,"Contact2" and "Contact3" in Outlook. Then I found out I needed to only have the main "Contact" file So I tried to delete the sub folders When using the delete option -- as I did for "Contact1" and "Contact3" it deleted the files correctly On "Contact2" I used the "remove" option which removed the name of the file but not the data. Please let me know how I can delete the data of "Contyacs2" when the file name is not there any longer. You can, however, see the file name if you right click on Contacts and chose the copy option. In other words I can still copy "Contacs2", but cannot delete it. This has nothing to do with sync of another program HD "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: You'll need to post a far more clear and complete description of your problem in a forum that supports your sync software. How could it remove the folder but not the data it contains? What is your
evidence for that? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "HD" wrote in message ... Hi Russ. Let's start over again. I had an IT person set up "Contact1" ,"Contact2" and "Contact3" in Outlook. Russ,
you obviously don't know Outlook 2003. I found the data in the folder list. Therefore you can remove the file link from the contact screen without removing the data. It would really help if you would make suggestions rather than writing back sarcasticly. Try to understand your customers and try to help them instaed of lecturing them. ... you obviously don't know Outlook 2003. And you obviously don't know how to describe something with precision. How could anyone have gotten to the point of knowing you had a link on the contact record from your original post? You said you created "sub files". -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

The problem was that your description was completely unclear and inaccurate.
Try again. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "HD" wrote in message ... Russ, you obviously don't know Outlook 2003. I found the data in the folder list.
