I've recently imported a list of contacts to my Outlook Contacts folder. I'd
like to set a recurring reminder for all of their birthdays. Is there a way to set this for the whole group rather than going into each contact to set them individually? Thanks, Micah |

Did they have reminders on them prior to the import? I expect so. Importing
is not the way to move Outlook files from computer to computer and it is written about here daily. Just move the file and open it and you will not loose all those reminders for Contact birthdays. No, I imported from an Excel spreadsheet. Should have specified that, sorry.

I've been accused of saying "no, it can't be done" too much so this time I
will say "of course you can". ![]() You could either add it to the spreadsheet before importing or use a group by view - see http://www.slipstick.com/emo/2008/up080522.htm#4 for instructions. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com ** Please include your Outlook version, Account type, and Windows Version when requesting assistance ** "Micah" wrote in message news ![]() I've recently imported a list of contacts to my Outlook Contacts folder.
