There are a couple help topics on the subject of the AutoComplete funtion for
email addressing, such as how to delete names from the AutoComplete list, how to reset your AutoComplete list (renaming the *.NK2 file), copying the *.NK2 file to a new computer, etc, but I've been unable to locate any instructions on how to purposefully or intentionally add specific names to the Nickname list so that it shows up in the AutoComplete list while addressing a message in Outlook. Any help or suggestions out there? I've tried typing names / addresses in the To:, Cc:, and Bcc: blocks and some names contact entries I send 5-10 messages a day to and their names STILL do not get added to the AutoComplete list. The rhyme or reason for how a name gets added to the list isn't apparent and defies logic. Just as I am able to open my personal USER dictionary, I should be able to open the *.NK2 file and add, edit, or remove the nicknames of the people to whom I send mail. |
