Hi, when I create an email in Outlook 2003, click the "To" button to select
recipient names, Contacts used to be listed above Global Address List. I had a problem with my profile and recreated it, but I now find that when I go through the process to select recipients, Contacts is now at the bottom of the list. Does anyone know how I can move it to the top of the list so that I only have to go up one nudge from the Global Address List to Contacts. Going through Tools - Address Book, then Tools - Options within the Address Book screen, changing any of the options does not work. Thanks. Jackie |

That's the correct place and dialog to make that setting. What are you doing
and what doesn't work? Can't you set which folder the address book displays first? Are you restarting Outlook after you make a change? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "JackieP" wrote in message ... Hi, I didn't want my contacts to be shown first in the "Show names from the",
I wanted Contacts to be just above Global Address List, so I only had to scroll up 1 notch for Contacts, as opposed to scrolling down a very long list. The only we could do it was by IT re-creating my profile. "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: That's the correct place and dialog to make that setting. What are you doing and what doesn't work? You can only change which address book displays first through the GUI.
Otherwise the list will appear in the order in which they were enabled in the profile. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "JackieP" wrote in message ...
