Auto Formatting telephone number fields in Outlook
Can we set outlook to format telephone numbers? For example, if I enter
4157488021 in the number field in an Outlook contact record and upon moving to another field, have the phone number automatically format to (415) 748-8021.

I've tried and when I click on dailing properties, I receive an error that says
"Unable to complete an operation requested by automatic phone dialer, please make sure your modem, phone, and phone line are properly configured." "Phone and modem control panel can not be opened. You may have a problem starting telephony service." 1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc in the Open box, and then click OK. 2. Double-click Telephony. 3. On the General tab, click Manual in the Startup type box, and then click OK. 4.
