Default Contacts disappear when moving to new folder

I have a user (president of the company of course) who is losing contacts
when he moves them to another contact folder. If we copy and paste, it works
fine. I've confirmed this yet don't have the same issue on my PC. I've reset
the security on his account. We are running Outlook 2003 w/SP3 with Exchange
2003. We run 4 storage groups with 4 MBS' in each. He is in an MBS with about
10 other users. Any ideas? He is not in cached mode.
