When I sync to Outlook from my phone, it saves the name and phone numbers but
not the physical addresses or b-days, etc. AT&T couldn't help me - hopefully someone here will be able to. |

It is entirely up to the software you use to synch your information. Outlook is only the repository for the information and takes no active part in the sync except to provide the information.
