i just recently started using category colors in calendar and I really like
it. It allows me a quick glance to see what types of activities I have coming up. I now started adding categories to my contacts as well, but it doesn't seem the contact views use colors. If I view as a list it has a column for catgeory and it has an icon for the color, but it doesn't really "use" the color. Since it works so well in calendar why not in contacts too? Am I missing something? I can't seem to find any way to turn colors on in the contact views. |

Color categories in Contacts only work in a list view, not a card view.

Not entirely. In the category column there is a tiny colored icon. That's ok,
but since you're already grouped by category, it's pointless. It seriously needs to be implemented in every view.
