Default Change type on already defined user fields

I have a public folders contact list with 6000 contacts. Due to some
corruption, I had to export and reimport all contacts using the contactgenie
tools. After doing so I have noticed that in user defined fields, previous
fields have been given a type of yes/no checkboxes are not type textboxes,
with values of true or false. I want to switch these back to yes/no
checkboxes. Is there a way?

Regards,
Ben

Is there a reason that this question/issue has not been sent to ContactGenie
Support (support AT contactgenie.com)? There has been nothing received about
anything related to this that I can see. Our response time is typically
within 2-4 hours (or less) M-F during prime business hrs (EST / GMT -5) and
4-6 hrs after that - 7 days a week (we can't resolve any issues or help
anyone who doesn't contact us directly - this newsgroup is not a CG support
venue).

Once submitted, the issue will be reviewed to determine if there is a
problem with any of the CG products or if there is an issue with a custom
form in use since CG determines field types based on field definitions found
in the form. CG DataPorter allows several input alternatives for how yes/no,
true/false, on/off data is processed.

At a very minimum - please also include:
#1 - Version numbers of the CG product used (available from the "About"
screen)
#2 - Copy of the custom form used (if any) as an "oft" file
#3 - A very small sample of the data used on import (one contact record
containing data in any of the fields in question is sufficient)

Outside of that, if CG DataPorter was used to "automatically create" new
user-defined fields in new contacts imported that do not use a custom form -
than the default would be for the fields to be set as "text" fields.

If a problem is found to be related to any CG products - updates are also
issued to the person reporting the problem (usually within 24 hrs) once the
problem can be replicated.

Karl
