The previous owner of the contacts had 19 separate lists of addresses. When I
get an email change I change the information in the contact section but have to manually look and find the old name. Is there a way to automatically link the contact info to the lists? |

Explain what you mean more clearly. The term "list of addresses" has no
meaning within Outlook's constructs. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "LearningCurve" wrote in message ... The previous owner of the contacts had 19 separate lists of addresses. I believe the correct term is Distribution Lists? He originally created it
send messages to large groups then because of spam filters he created numerous distribution lists with between 25-40 addresses in each one. Thus 19 total distribution lists. In theory, you would need to use the "Update Now" button in the DL. In
reality, it works less than 10% of the time. Most savvy Outlook users abandoned DL's long ago because they are so dysfunctional. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "LearningCurve" wrote in message news ![]() I believe the correct term is Distribution Lists?
