Default Contacts with initials in their names

I have a contact I would like to add to my address book and have done so, but
it doesn't show up in my address book. I go to Tools/Address Book/File/New
Entry/New Contact - then enter the information (T.M.S. Contracting) - then
click 'Save and Close'. There is never an error message of any sort, but the
name will not show up in my contact list. Any suggestions?
