I think I saw a support KB doc on this years ago but I can't find it now...
I'm looking for a way to wipe out the cache where the autofill contacts are stored. In other words I would like to prevent the following issue: when I type a name in the To field, it automatically fills in the rest of a contact name for me, but I don't want that to happen because some of these are for old email addresses. |

When presented with a bad address, use your arrow key to select it and press delete. To delete the entire autocomplete cache, find and rename the n2k file. Renaming allows you to put it back if you don't like the results.

Where is the n2k file? I searched all my drives for *.n2k but nothing turned
up. I tried it with Outlook 2003 running, and closed. I'm on Windows XP by the way. |

Turn on searching hidden files/folders in Windows Search.
