change default area code in contacts

Ofc Outlook 2007, the first ever new contact I typed had the wrong area code.
Now EVER time I type in a new phn number it auto inserts the wrong one or I
have to manually type in the correct one. I have searched EVERYWHERE. How do
I fix this and make the DEFAULT the correct area code.

You have to change the default Area code in your modem setting in the control panel.
