I recently upgraded to Office Pro 2007 from Office Pro 2000. In the
previous version, I could print a letter from a template in Word choose to print an envelopeinsert the receipent's address from the address book, &/or add a new contact from the address book popup if the contact was not there. It seems in version 2007, I do not have the option to add a new contact from envelope/address book. I can search and advance search, but must back out and go to Outlook to add the new contact. I have tried adding the Address Book to the QAT of Word but that shortcut also brings me the screen without the "add new" option. This is such a pain and waste of time. Am I missing an option that would allow me to add the ability to add a new contact from a word document? I have to say I regret the upgrade to 2007 many of the tools I depended on are not available. -- Thanks, Wendy |

Yes the Icon is there, that is how I insert the mailing address to the
envelope. However, the problem is the Add New Contact is no longer available from the Address Book that I get from the Icon. The same address book in Outlook allows the "new" option. Yes, my outlook address book works when creating emails. -- Thanks, Wendy "Gordon" wrote: "Wendy04901" wrote in message news ![]() I recently upgraded to Office Pro 2007 from Office Pro 2000. Ah sorry, misunderstood the first post. it seems that if you click on the addressbook icon, and anywhere in the Addressbook window do a right-click, you get three options: Properties Delete and New Entry.
