Sort alphabetically WITHIN categories
I'm so confused on how to sort contacts alphabetically when I choose to view
the contacts BY CATEGORY. Once I choose to view contacts BY CATEGORY, then all the fields are across the top (NAME, ADDRESS, CATEGORY, etc). I click on CATEGORY, which sorts the CATEGORIES alphabetically, but the CONTACTS under each of the CATEGORIES is NOT sorted alphabetically. Help!

Sort alphabetically WITHIN categories
Your version I guess is 2003 and it's a PAIN at this function.
Here's the workaround: sort by the name field first, then group by Category (manually) you do this like this : turn on the Advanced Toolbar use the Group By box button on that tool bar drag the Categories field (column header) into the grey group by box I hope this helps you at least a little bit!
