Default Customize the notes section of Contacts in Outlook 2003

I want to know if it is possible to automatically add one consistent short
paragraph in the note section of every new contact I create in Outlook 2003.
It would be a plus to be able to add the same short paragraph to existing
contacts without affecting the existing text already in the notes as well but
I can live without that.

I have searched unsuccessfully trying to find the blank template that
Outlook uses (I am guessing it is actually a Word template) when "New" is
selected to create a new contact.

You help is greatly appreicated.

Thank you,

Ron

Have you tried Tools-Forms-Design a Form and used that option to insert your boilerplate?

Actually, you'd create the contact with the template text and then publish it and make it the new default form for new contacts. No need to go into design mode. See http://www.outlookcode.com/d/newdefaultform.htm

Word has nothing to do with this, by the way.

I did find the design tool but could not figure out how to get a text box
into the notes section. When using the design tool everytime I click on the
notes section it selects the whole thing and won't let me modify it.

Thank you,

Ron

That's why you need to follow the procedure I suggested -- edit the contact body as you normally would, then publish it as a form.
