You have posted no information. Include your Outlook version, what you are
trying to do, why "Import" is necessary, and what you are trying to import. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Dean R" Dean wrote in message ... When I import i get a message 'you do not have permission required to access the file I have tried to change attributes, no luck HELP |

You do not import PST files. You open them.
Why do you need to import your PST file? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Dean R" wrote in message ... OUtlook 2003. I updated to Vista from XP and backed up all my files. Inculuding outlook. Next, right-click it, choose Properties, and remove the read-only attribute. Third, start Outlook and click FIleOpenOutlook Data File. Fourth, browse to the PST, select it, and click OK. You now have access to all the data it contains. NEVER import from a PST. -- Brian Tillman |
