Is it possible to place the information given under the Activities Tab where
the Notes Section is under the General Tab? Also, I have asked another question several times without resolution. I wish to get the activities tab to display information in my Archive folders. My Archive Folders show up under my Personal Folders and I have right clicked on all of my 8 Contact Folders and Subfolders and gone to the Activities tab and added the Archive Folder and all Subfolders. Yet the information still does not appear in Activities. Thank you in advance for any information that you may give me in this matter. Bryan |

Thank you. So you basically are saying that the Activities tab in the
Outlook.pst will only search data in the Outlook.pst. And that the only way for the Activities tab to search data in the Archive.pst would be if the Contact itself resided in the Archive.pst. Is that correct? "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Is it possible to place the information given under the Activities Tab where the Notes Section is under the General Tab? No, that's not possible. No, that's not what I said. Any given Activities group can search only one .pst file at a time -- in your case, either Outlook.pst or Archive.pst. If you want to search both, you'll need two separate Activities groups.

Well, if that's what you are saying, then as I mentioned at the beginning of
this message I had already done that for all 8 Contact Folders. i.e. Under Contact Properties/Activities I have a folder titled New Folder Group that list the Archive Folders. Yet it still doesn't work. "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: No, that's not what I said. That wasn't clear from your earlier posts. What happens when you display a contact, go to the Activities tab, and switch to the New Folder Group activity group?

That's a good question. I tried it and yes it did work when I chose the New
Folder Group. But when I went back to All Items, again it was blank. Then when I chose New Folder Group, again it found what I needed. Does that mean that there is no way to get the New Folder Group to show up under All Items? As I've said at least twice now, you cannot combine folders from one ..pst file with those of another in a single activities group. You will need to maintain two different activities groups, one to view the items in each folder.
