Default Able to create a distribution list, but cannot send mail via the l

Unable to send email via the distribution list I just created. The list
displays in the contacts area, but is not recognized when I attempt to send
the list an email. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Provide some actual information with your post. State what you are doing
accurately and what happens when you try. Never post an email question
without including your Outlook version, transport type and information
store. We can't read minds.

The distribution list doesn't work because it doesn't esixt under the
"Show Names from the:" drop-down box after clicking the "To..." button
on a new message.

If you want the DL to work when you type the DL name on the "To..."
field:
1) Go to Tools -- E-mail Accounts
2) Select "View or change existing directories or address books" and
click next
3) Then push the "Add..." button and select "Additional Address Books"
4) Select "Outlook Address Book"
5) Restart Outlook and you are can start using your DL like you
normally would!
