I was trying to configure my Outlook today (the mail settings) and setup new
Outlook data files. I did not realize this would make my existing Contacts list inaccessible...I did not backup the Contacts previously. I think the file is probably still on my computer but i cannot access it (hidden file). Further, the file is not broken up in contacts, calendar, etc but seems to be a general outlook file. How can i retrieve my Contacts file again? I had hundreds of entries..... thanks in advance |

Just because it's hidden, doesn't mean you can't access it. Unhide the file.
It's where all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored. Take a look at these pages for info on Outlook data backup or transfer: http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm http://www.howto-outlook.com/Howto/backupandrestore.htm http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...771141033.aspx -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "smiley188" wrote in message ...
