Backup contact data created using custom forms
I have created a custom form with some user defined fields in it. I have
published the form to my Personal Forms Library. I usually backup by creating a copy of the Outlook.pst folder and save it as Outlook Date. If I have to reformat my PC, reload Outlook and then open my old Outlook folder (as I have had to do in the past!), will my items still be opened with the custom form or will that no longer exist in my custom form library? If the latter, how do I get round this? What is the correct process for backing up when custom forms are used? Am feeling a bit nervouse here!

Backup contact data created using custom forms
Since the form is published in your Personal Forms library, the file you need to back up and later restore is your entire current .pst file. It contains the form definition as a hidden item. As long as it's the default store for the current mail profile (as set in Tools | Email Accounts), it will have all your forms and custom views and rules.

Documents and Settings/User Name/Local Settings/Application Data/Microsoft/Outlook?
