I am having some trouble with importing address books. When I export them I
can open the WAB file on my computer and everything is still divided by the folders I have created, but when I import it back into another computer's Outlook Express the folders are gone. It just puts all the addresses into the "Main Identity's Contacts" folder. This is important because all our contacts are divided into folders based on what they buy. The only way I can transfer it from the WAB file into Address Book is to make all new folders, and then copy and paste all the contacts into the individual folders (which means pressing "Enter" about a zillion times). Any help would be greatly appreciated! Andrea |

That's because Outlook does not have and does not use an address book.
Post your OE questions in an OE group. This is a group to support Outlook from the Office group of programs. Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and is a quite different program despite its similar name.. You will probably get a faster and more expert answer if you post this to an outlook express news group. Try posting in one of these newsgroups: microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie5.outlooke xpress for OE 5.x microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie55.outlook express for OE 5.5x microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlooke xpress for OE 6.x A good website for information on OE is: http://www.tomsterdam.com/ -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "atbioteach" wrote in message ...
