Besides using distribution lists--I want to send emails to small groups of
contacts chosen at random. When I try to drag them from the Category view to the email, the entire contact information inserts into the BCC window. instead of just the email address. What is the easiest way to do this? |

So how is it that a Category constitutes a "small group of Contacts chosen
at random?" What do you mean dragging from the Category view to an email? Your post makes no sense. Post more accurately please. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Oraclewiz" wrote in message ... True Russ it doesn't make much sense. But in meanwhile I figured out the answer. In the category with a category of 100 contacts--select a number of contacts while holding down the Ctrl key and click on the Mail Icon in th tool bar. Viola, the email screen opens with the contacts nestled in the To: window. The only messy move is getting them down to the Bcc window. For now I highlight and drag them but it is tedious. Thanks--any other idea's |

That method and the "Actions New Message to Contact" method will only
place addresses in the To: field. There is no alternative but to cut and paste if you want them in the BCC field. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Oraclewiz" wrote in message ...
