I'm using OL 2003 SP2.
The view is set to address cards, sort by File As (ascending). But, the sort does not work correctly. Within one company, it will list some of the names sorted correctly within the first group, then the rest of the names will appear sorted correctly within that second group. For example, it will list Adams, Jones, Smith, and Wilson, then it will list Brown, Miller, and Williams. I checked the File As for Wilson and Brown. They both show the company name first EXACTLY the same way. For example, ABC, Inc. (Wilson, ... ABC, Inc. (Brown, ... I tried changing the sort to Company, Last Name, First Name and everything was sorted correctly within the company. But, that is not a good solution if I need to change the sort order regularly. Thank you. Jerry |

Normally one uses the By Company view to sort the Contacts Folder by
company. The Address Card view is not designed for that purpose and will probably not behave the way you think it should. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "jerryk" wrote in message ...
