Default Contact folder as default address book

I do still have the pst file on my laptop. How do I open it? When I "File
menu Open Outlook Data File command " I am asked what program to use to
open this file. Nothing seems to work. I have never 'poked around' in a PST
file. Your thoughts?

thx

all your data may be. Then drag/drop what you need from one to the other.

Well yeah--except that they do not appear anywhere. Where might they be so
I
can
enable them as an address books individually?

You should already be in Outlook when you follow the command path I
mentioned. You shouldn't be asked which program to use to open the file.

WEll, I ended up copy/pasting all of the contacts from my 13 address lists
onto a flash drive and moving them to the desktop. IT worked and all is in
order. Thanks for the help. I just don't understand why those addresses did
not appear with the rest of the data when I imported the pst file.
