I accidetally moved a few of my distribution lists to the "Inbox" folder.
Now I find them neither in the Inbox nor in the Contacts. How can I get these distribution lists back without re-constructing them? |

The accident actually happened while I was using the Web access version of
the outlook 2003. "Brian Tillman" wrote: Richard Zhou Richard wrote: I accidetally moved a few of my distribution lists to the "Inbox" folder. How? Dragging a DL to the Inbox opens a Compose window with the DL in the To field. So does selecting the DL and choosing EditMove to Folder. Clicking FileMove to Folder from an open DL item produces a compose window with the DL as an attachment, deleting the DL from the Contacts folder and placing it in Deleted Items. I can find no way to get a DL into Inbox. Exactly what version of Outlook are you using? Now I find them neither in the Inbox nor in the Contacts. Did you look in Deleted Items? How can I get these distribution lists back without re-constructing them? Can't answer that yet. -- Brian Tillman |
