Thank you,Russ. But I think, regardless of the dialing rules, the way must be
pre-defined to enter the extension number in the phone number box on the Outlook contact form, e.g. a letter "w" for an outside line,a comma "," for a pause, and what for the extension number? "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" дÈëÏûÏ¢ÐÂÎÅ ... Not an Outlook question. Outlook uses the Windows dialer. Consult an OS group about how to create and use dialing rules. Better yet, search the Internet. This information is widely available. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "James" wrote in message ... I have Outlook 2000,Internet Mail Only mode.I want Outlook to automatically dial my contact's number and the extension number, anyone know how to enter the extension number in the phone number box? thanks in advance. |
