I am using Outlook 2003 SP2, and am using Contacts to manage my contact
database. I would like to link archived email to my contact. I use the Link feature in the Actions toolbar, and link the email to the contact. However, when I go to view my activities in the Activities tab, it does not appear. When I link an email in my Inbox to a contact, I can view that email in the Activities tab. However, when I archive the email in the Inbox, that email no longer appears in the Activities tab. Please help. Thanks. |

The Activities tab shows related items in the folders defined by the selected "activities group." Activities groups are defined in the Properties dialog of the contacts folder. Based on your description, you have not set up any activities group to look at the desired folder(s) in the archive .pst file. You cannot mix and match stores in an activities group. You'll need one just for the archive file.

No, but you'll be able to search across multiple stores, which will be much, much faster than using the Activities tab.
