Default Contact names some do not appear for use

Typing the name of a contact in the To... section of an email message a list
of names that I regulary use appear.
Question 1, some names do not appear, eg. type letter R and three or more
contacts should appear, Ruth, Richard, Robin, but no names appear why?
Question 2, I want the names to appear as 'display as' but some names appear
as the full email address?
Question 3, I have one contact who has changed his email address, the old
email address keeps appearing although I have deleted it?
Please help an elderly user to sort out these problems.
Thank you Les Marshall

From your description, I will assume that you are using either Outlook 2002
or 2003 and that you are referring to a list that appears while you type. If
so, you are asking about Outlook's autocompletion feature, which has nothing
to do with your Contacts. The only names that will appear are those to which
you've previously sent messages from your current profile.

You can read more about how autocompletion works he
