HOW DO I DELETE THE OUTBOX.OUTMAIL IS STUCK IN OUTBOX.

The message keeps saying that windows is trying to send it however it's not going. I tried to delete it without any success. what is the secret to deleting messages that are stuck in the outbox. Please help. A google search would have told you the answer to this very frequently asked question. Click File and check Work Offline. Close and then restart Outlook. Delete the message.
