I have had Outlook 2007 for over a year and email from my three accounts have
always gone into one inbox so it was very easy to check and keep track of them. I had some issues with my computer and had to reinstall Outlook 2007. When I reentered my email accounts, they are now going into 3 different inboxes and they do not register on the Outlook Today Page. I don't believe that I did anything different but I can't seem to get it back to the way I had it... please help!! I use Outlook so I didn't have to go and check multiple places for my email, and now it seems Outlook in making me do so. I am running Vista as my operating system... if that helps... ![]() any suggesstions will be appreciated!! |

Which mail account types are you using?
If they are all POP3 then by default they will all go to the same message store. You can modify it by going to; Tools- Account Settings...- select account - button Change Folder -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more http://www.msoutlook.info/ Real World Questions, Real World Answers ----- "VaillancourtM" wrote in message ... IMAP accounts always have their own message store because they are a 2-way
sync. This is the case for any version of Outlook and in fact even for any mail client as the IMAP protocol require it. Did you perhaps previously used the POP3 connection for your AOL account instead? I am not sure... I set up the emails the same way both times, I used the
wizard. Would Outlook set up the accounts differently? "Roady [MVP]" wrote: IMAP accounts always have their own message store because they are a 2-way sync. Outlook has never aggregated IMAP accounts into the same folders. IMAP protocols simply do not allow it. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

It could be that AOL has modified its autoconfiguration settings to prefer
IMAP usage over POP3 since the last time you used the autoconfiguration option in the wizard. When you configure it manually you can choose between POP3 and IMAP. -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more http://www.msoutlook.info/ Real World Questions, Real World Answers ----- "VaillancourtM" wrote in message ...
